Tariff Classification and Duty Determination

Our dedicated Customs Consultants will review tariff codes used by you and where required, seek to re-classify goods so that you’re compliant and minimise risk. When re-classifications are achieved, we seek to recover overpaid duty in the previous three years. On your instruction, we will obtain binding tariffs so that ongoing savings can be achieved. The minimum Merchandise Processing Fee (MPF)of $29.66 will apply to all formal entry shipments valued $8,563.00 USD or less. The maximum MPF fee of $575.35 will apply to all shipments valued $166,095 USD or higher.

 

Customs Warehousing

A bonded CFS Warehouse is a bonded facility that is used as transitory storage for imported and exported goods. Bonded means that the CFS has the authority from the US Customs & Border Protection to receive shipments that are under customs bond. Our strategically located warehouses across the EU & USA offer compliant and diligent customs warehousing solutions. Our dedicated teams ensure that your shipment gets off the pier and into our warehouse quickly, thereby speeding up transportation and shipment processes by identifying and prioritizing shipments. Our CFS facilities are secured so goods can be stored safely before and after shipping and then sent directly to onward warehouses or other destinations, increasing overall supply chain efficiency by providing short-term storage and cost savings as a result of effective duty management.
